Charitable giving and political giving live in different legal worlds, so the law rightly keeps the organizations that serve them separate. Donors should not have to feel that seam. Here is how our family is being built to serve both, honestly and separately.

Records kept here cover tax-deductible charitable gifts, and your wallet produces one clean statement at tax time.
For political giving. A planned membership organization bringing the same privacy and one-place clarity to campaign contributions: a protected email address and phone number for political donors, preferences that stick, and a clear record of every contribution.
Political contributions are never tax-deductible, and Ballotgrove's records stay clearly separate from your charitable wallet, so there is never confusion at tax time.
Federal law draws a bright line: charitable organizations must stay entirely out of political campaigns, and we think that line is good for everyone. So charitable giving is served by Pandokin, and political giving will be served by Ballotgrove, a legally separate organization with its own governance, funding, and records.
What you experience is simpler than what the law requires underneath: one signup, one profile, one place to see your generosity. When you look at your wallet, charitable gifts and political contributions appear clearly separated, each held by the right organization, each labeled for exactly what it is. The structure lives beneath the surface, where structures belong.
Neither organization is formed yet. Pandokin is an early-stage startup being built to operate as a 501(c)(3); it has not yet filed for status. Ballotgrove is a planned sister organization, intended as a 501(c)(4) membership organization funded by member dues, and Ballotgrove is a working name that may change. We would rather tell you exactly where we are than claim anything we have not yet earned.
Pandokin and Ballotgrove will be separate legal organizations. Pandokin's charitable mission does not fund or campaign for anything political, and nothing on this site is a solicitation for political activity.
